On the outside, my life worked.
I was successful, capable, and doing all the right things.
Inside, I lived with constant pressure to keep going, keep proving, keep holding it together . And I built a quiet disconnection from myself that I didn’t yet have language for.
Becoming a mother made that impossible to ignore.
It exposed how automatic the guilt, self-pressure, and over-functioning had become and showed me something no job change, productivity system, or mindset shift ever could:
The problem wasn’t effort.
It was what my body had learned to rely on to feel okay.
What actually changed my life wasn’t trying harder or optimizing my life.
It was learning how to slow down, listen inward, and dismantle the conditioning driving my choices - through nervous system regulation, somatic work, and inner child reparenting.
